Spent some of last weekend working on figuring out how to go about doing multi track recording with my laptop. I had hoped to avoid multitracking since it so tedious but to get the kind of fullness of sound there may be no way around it. Other thing is that I am debating whether or not to use some kind of drums and bass on the multitracked songs. In the recording project either I want to try and work towards making the drums and bass type sound with just my guitar, or I want to make a more solid and complete sounding recording but that will likely mean using midi crap since I have no bass/bassist or drums/drummer.

Examples of the output from this weekend's efforts can be heard here. I like the upbeat springy groove of hard to handle and more human has kind of a cool vocal entry, but overal the sound is too flat and thin esspecially my voice.  I will probably just keep rerecording my 10-20 best covers until I find a satisfactory method but I hope to have a solid demo done before the end of the year so that I can have something to promote and sell when I play live.
